Who we are - some background
CONNECT was established in 1985 to provide benefits for employees in the electrical and associated industries. The trustees responsible for managing CONNECT is SPEC Pty Ltd (ACN 006 476 740), which comprises representatives from both the National Electrical & Communications Association (NECA) and the Communications, Electrical, Electronic Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (CEPU).
The Trustee is responsible for all aspects of the operation of CONNECT, including the appointment of the Administrator, Investment Manager, and Insurer.
