Check out CONNECT's great benefits
Super's simple at CONNECT
At CONNECT we keep things simple. You have a CONNECT super account that works a bit like a bank account. Money goes in (via employer and personal contributions), it earns interest and when you're eligible for a payout, you receive your account balance, less fees and taxes. You receive two statements a year, which tell you how much is in your account.
CONNECT makes investing simple - 3 easy choices
CONNECT gives you three different options for investing your super - Growth, Balanced, and Capital Stable. They're easy to understand, and you don't have to be an investment guru to make a good decision.
See CONNECT's Member Information PDS.
You have insurance for death & disablement - which you can top up
As a CONNECT member, you get basic insurance cover for death and disablement. To help protect you and your family, you can also purchase top up cover. It's an easy and convenient way to take out insurance - the cost comes out of your super account.
You can access discounted private health insurance from GMHBA
As a CONNECT Super member, you and your family can take advantage of quality health insurance at discounted rates through the Super Members Health Plan (SMHP) from GMHBA. With great value premiums and a 7% discount, SMHP could give you real savings each year. For more information call 1300 136 650, visit the SMHP website or email smhp@gmhba.com.au
You have access to Super Member home loans
Being in CONNECT gives you access to Super Member Home Loans and InterestME Savings Account. It's a separate organisation from CONNECT that offers banking services for Members only, with no application fee and no monthly account-keeping fees. Just call
1300 654 990 or access the website at www.membersequity.com.au
for more details.
Great publications to keep you informed
Your annual report
Each year you'll receive an annual report and it's worth reading. You'll find out how CONNECT has performed for the year and the directions it's taking for the future.
Regular newsletter
During the year we’ll keep you informed with newsletters that give you the facts you need to know to make the most out of your super.
Administration fees leaflet
This leaflet is included with the member booklet and outlines the latest fees. When fees are updated from time to time, you'll be told about this either in the annual report or Newsflash, or via this website.
