Know your GOAL:
Calculate your projected super payout and check that it’s enough
To help Members better plan their retirement, CONNECT now has online calculators.
The superannuation calculators help you assess if your current superannuation contributions are likely to yield sufficient income in retirement, to satisfy needs and aspirations. They can also assist in understanding the impact of certain costs and illustrate the beneficial effects of making regular contributions over a long period of time or salary sacrificing into superannuation.
However, we always encourage you to talk to a financial advisor before making any financial decisions.
Accumulation Superannuation Calculator – this lets you calculate your projected retirement payout, based on your current age, planned retirement age, salary, account balance, your contributions and your estimate of the rate of investment return.
Salary Sacrifice Calculator – this allows you to calculate the after tax cost
to you when you contribute more into super from your pre-tax (gross) salary
and to see the difference in your projected retirement payout.
Allocated Pension Calculator – this allows you to calculate your allocated pension projection based on your anticipated retirement payout minimum and maximum pension requirements. This allows you to see the size of pension you can potentially purchase with your retirement payout as well as how long that pension is likely to last, based on certain assumptions about investment return and inflation.
